About the Role

TechSense Controls is expanding its U.S. sales footprint and looking for experienced independent sales agents to represent our growing line of smart industrial sensors, IoT monitoring devices, and automation control solutions.

As our representative, you will work with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and industrial end users to introduce cutting-edge technology designed to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and optimize production environments. This is a long-term opportunity backed by high-margin hardware PLUS recurring revenue generated from device connectivity and monitoring subscriptions.

You will receive full product training, dedicated support, and the option for an exclusive territory based on performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business in your assigned territory with OEMs, system integrators, automation distributors, and industrial end users
  • Present and demonstrate IoT sensors, industrial monitors, and automation control solutions to technical and non-technical decision-makers
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, closing, onboarding, and follow-up
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Provide customer feedback to support product development and market strategy
  • Participate in industry trade shows, regional events, and customer demo sessions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven success as an independent sales agent, manufacturers’ rep, or distributor in industrial technology, electronics, automation, MRO, or related sectors
  • Existing customer network with OEMs, integrators, industrial plants, or distributors
  • Strong technical understanding of sensors, automation, electrical systems, or IoT platforms
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, practical terms
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working on a commission-only structure
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on developing long-term customer relationships

Compensation
